健康、平價的素食餐飲Healthy, affordable vegetarian meals

• 三校區校園餐廳全面供應素食：中央校區同心圓餐廳，建國、介仁校區妙膳廳。
• 學校補助餐費，三校區師生自付早餐 15 元、午／晚餐 25 元。
• 妙膳廳午、晚餐為自助餐刷卡；介仁校區早餐及兩校區假日三餐採線上訂餐。校外人士可於妙膳廳用午、晚餐，每餐 80 元。
• 113學年用餐 275,961 人次，餐費補助 8,613,980 元。
• 校園餐廳不使用免洗餐具，請自備環保餐具。

• All campus restaurants serve vegetarian meals only: Tongxinyuan Cafeteria on the Main Campus and Miaoshan Cafeteria on the Jianguo and Jieren Campuses.
• Meals are subsidised by the university: students and staff on all three campuses pay NT$15 for breakfast and NT$25 for lunch or dinner.
• Miaoshan Cafeteria serves lunch and dinner as a buffet paid by card; Jieren breakfast and weekend/holiday meals on both campuses are by online pre-order. Visitors may have lunch or dinner at Miaoshan Cafeteria for NT$80 per meal.
• AY2024–25: 275,961 meals served, with NT$8,613,980 in meal subsidies.
• Campus restaurants do not use disposable tableware; please bring your own reusable utensils.

全校食物浪費盤查University-wide food waste tracking

• 全校廚餘逐次過磅記錄，113學年廚餘 25,001 kg（25.001 公噸）。
• 果皮、廚餘、落葉等有機廢棄物過磅後堆肥再利用；每年自製環保酵素約 50–60 kg。

• All campus food waste is weighed and recorded. AY2024–25 food waste: 25,001 kg (25.001 tonnes).
• Organic waste (fruit peels, food scraps, fallen leaves) is weighed and composted; about 50–60 kg of eco-enzyme cleaner is made each year.

免費飲水機Free drinking water fountains

• 三校區設置飲水機，水源為自來水，免費供師生使用。
• 每月至少清潔保養兩次；使用 MH 濾心，每年更換一次，紀錄保存至少兩年。
• 113學年汰舊換新 9 台。

• Drinking water fountains across the three campuses are supplied with mains tap water and are free for all students and staff.
• Fountains are cleaned at least twice a month and use MH filters, replaced once a year; maintenance records are kept for at least two years.
• 9 fountains were replaced with new units in AY2024–25.

定期水質檢驗Regular water quality testing

• 113學年：中央、介仁校區每季抽驗 20 部（全年 80 部），結果均符合標準；建國校區另依合約每季抽驗。
• 檢驗不合格時立即關閉水源、懸掛警示，修繕並複驗合格後才恢復使用。

• AY2024–25: 20 fountains on the Main and Jieren Campuses were sampled each quarter (80 for the year), all meeting the standard; the Jianguo Campus was sampled quarterly under a separate contract.
• If a test fails, the fountain is shut off and marked with a warning sign until it is repaired and passes a retest.

校區交通車Inter-campus shuttle buses

• 三校區間提供交通車接駁，113學年搭乘 27,071 人次、1,775 車次。
• 依需求彈性調派大巴、中巴、校車與計程車。
• 太魯閣客運電動公車設站本校。

• Shuttle buses link the three campuses: 27,071 passenger trips on 1,775 runs in AY2024–25.
• Large buses, mid-size buses, campus vans and taxis are dispatched flexibly according to demand.
• Taroko Bus electric buses stop on campus.

校園車輛管理與行人優先Campus traffic management and pedestrian priority

• 校內速限 25 公里；汽、機車依車道進出指定停車區，宿舍區車輛未經申請不得進入教學區。
• 設置電動車充電停車格，免費提供使用；電動機車位 58 格、腳踏車位 2,070 格。
• 每日約 1,045 台自行車、約 48 台（估）電動車在校使用。
• 學校公務車 15 輛，以派車系統統一調度。

• Campus speed limit is 25 km/h. Cars and motorcycles use designated lanes to reach assigned parking areas; vehicles from dormitory areas may not enter teaching areas without a permit.
• EV charging bays are free to use; 58 e-scooter spaces and 2,070 bicycle spaces are provided.
• About 1,045 bicycles and an estimated 48 electric vehicles are used on campus each day.
• The university's 15 official vehicles are centrally dispatched through a booking system.

教職員宿舍Affordable staff housing

• 學校直接提供教職員單身宿舍，每月 2,000–4,500 元，除冷氣電費外水電不另計；並代辦慈濟基金會有眷宿舍。
• 113學年單身宿舍入住 51 間、有眷宿舍 69 戶。

• The university provides single-staff dormitories at NT$2,000–4,500 per month, with water and electricity included (air-conditioning billed separately), and arranges family housing provided by the Tzu Chi Foundation.
• AY2024–25 occupancy: 51 single rooms and 69 family units.

113學年全校廢棄物盤查University-wide waste data, AY2024–25

資源回收率＝資源回收 ÷ 廢棄物總量；回收再利用率＝（資源回收＋廚餘）÷ 廢棄物總量，廚餘過磅後堆肥再利用。廢棄物總量包含生活垃圾、資源回收、廚餘及其他廢棄物四類。

Recycling rate = recycled materials ÷ total waste. Recovery rate = (recycled materials + food waste) ÷ total waste; food waste is weighed and composted. Total waste includes all four categories: domestic waste, recycled materials, food waste and other waste.

垃圾減量政策Waste reduction policy

依《慈濟大學推行垃圾減量友善校園環境實施要點》（97年訂定，113年11月8日修正）：

Under the TCU Guidelines for Waste Reduction and an Eco-friendly Campus (adopted 2008, amended 8 Nov 2024):

• 廢棄物分為生活垃圾、資源回收、廚餘及其他廢棄物四類，分開收集、過磅與清運。
• 會議與活動不提供紙杯、一次用塑膠杯及包裝飲用水，不使用免洗餐具。
• 福利社以不供應塑膠袋為原則，鼓勵自備購物袋與容器，不使用保麗龍。
• 廠商交貨的包裝廢棄物及營繕工程廢棄物，由廠商自行清運。
• 燈管、燈泡、電池集中於環保站，交由合格回收商處理。

• Waste is separated into four categories—domestic waste, recycled materials, food waste and other waste—which are collected, weighed and removed separately.
• Meetings and events do not provide paper cups, single-use plastic cups or bottled water, and do not use disposable tableware.
• The campus shop does not provide plastic bags as a rule; people are encouraged to bring their own bags and containers and avoid polystyrene.
• Suppliers must remove their own packaging waste, and contractors must remove their own construction waste.
• Fluorescent tubes, light bulbs and batteries are collected at the recycling station and handed to a licensed recycler.

校園減塑Reducing plastic on campus

依垃圾減量實施要點，校內會議與活動不提供一次用塑膠杯及包裝飲用水、不使用免洗餐具，福利社以不供應塑膠袋為原則；校園餐廳不使用免洗餐具。各區飲水機免費供水，歡迎自備水壺取水。

Under the waste reduction guidelines, meetings and events on campus provide no single-use plastic cups, bottled water or disposable tableware, and the campus shop does not provide plastic bags as a rule. Campus restaurants do not use disposable tableware, and free drinking fountains make it easy to refill your own bottle.

校園綠美化與生態Campus greening and biodiversity

• 三校區設有苗圃，自行育成植栽供校園綠美化使用。
• 介仁校區設有生態湖，為魚、鳥、蛙類提供棲地。
• 食物森林作為環境教育場域，供教師授課與學生實作。
• 113學年種植草花 220 株、喬木 13 棵、灌木 50 棵，並支援校級活動會場綠美化 15 場。
• 與關懷生命社合作照護校園動物，定期補助疫苗與防蟲。

• Each of the three campuses has a plant nursery that grows plants for campus landscaping.
• The Jieren Campus ecological pond provides habitat for fish, birds and frogs.
• A food forest serves as an outdoor classroom for environmental teaching and hands-on learning.
• AY2024–25: 220 flowering plants, 13 trees and 50 shrubs planted; floral and plant decoration for 15 university events.
• Campus animals are cared for together with the student Animal Care Club, with regular support for vaccination and parasite control.
